On Saturday 14 December, at the Planetarium of the Museum of Roman Civilisation and in collaboration with Romadiffusa, Luca Grechi and IUNO held the workshop Dettagli Planetari.
Starting from the creation of silhouettes inspired by the artist’s characteristic vegetal shapes, each participant had the opportunity to create their own ‘botanical atlas’ with pencils and coloured paper, a cartography of familiar and unfamiliar, real and fantastic green species.
Together, the images formed an ideal forest, a series of interstellar landscapes inhabited by creatures and plants produced and nurtured by children’s imagination.
Luca Grechi was born in 1985 in Grosseto and lives and works in Rome. In relation to his becoming, the balances and thoughts that settle on the canvas create a timeless pause that does not define but presents an anticipation. These infinite possibilities manifest in his painting through a continuous contrast of silence and noise, in search of coexistence.
