ROBERTO CASTI: ALIGNMENTS - LABORATORY FOR SPATIO-TEMPORAL AWARENESS
Allineamenti, the workshop conceived by Roberto Casti in the form of a walk through the Parco della Caffarella, dedicated to listening, speaking and writing.
In line with the artist's research, which focuses on the unnoticed, the marginal and what we normally consider irrelevant, participants were invited to analyze and describe their sorroundings from the recording and processing of data collected during their exploration.
The aim of the workshop was a collective, shared, reconstruction of a landscape, forgoing conventional descriptions and disregarding sight, which is normally preponderant in such an exercise.
The materials produced during the workshop gave form to a limited edition publication that will be presented on February 16th at IUNO. For this occasion, the space will host a soundscape composed of sounds from the Roman park and new works by the artist.
